We love celebrating Grandparents and the best way to do that is by inviting Grandparents into our school. We had a fantastic Grandparents day this year. Grandparents were welcomed into each class where the sang, recited poems and crated gifts for their Grandparents. Our Grandparents also spoke to the children about what their time in school was like. It was a great day and enjoyed by all.
Christmas Plays are a highlight of the school year. Every year each class gets the chance to showcase their incredible talents and creativity through a variety of captivating performances.
Staff, peers, friends and family are always impressed by the level of talent showcased by the children during these diverse and artistic productions.
Each year, every class looks forward to the School Tour. Destinations vary from year to year but, in choosing our locations and activities, we strive to ensure that these are both educational and entertaining for our students.
World Book Day is always a fun day in Scoil Mhuire. We love to see all the costumes from the fantastic books that our students read. We encourage everyone to dress up including our Teachers and SNA’s.
We invite our students to share their novel character and their favourite aspect of their novel or story.
